Ish:         It's getting too dark to see, so let's turn on the light.
Ike:         It isn't four yet, but it's pretty dark, isn't it?
Is:            Since this room faces north, the sun doesn't shine in. So it's very dark.
Ik:           Isn't it lucky that the neighborhood is quiet? You must be able to study very well here.
Is:            Yes, but the trouble is that it's too cold in winter.
Ik:           I guess it could be. Couldn't you have rented a room with more sunlight?
Is:           They were brigher room but I couldn't offord the rent for a room facing south.
Ik:           But this place is good because it's convenient to the station, isn't it? It doesn't take more than
five minutes to get to the station. does it?
Is:           No. How many minutes does it take from your apartment to the station?
Ik:           Why, it takes me twenty minutes from my place.
Is:            Walking?
Ik:            Yes, because there's no bus.
Is:             That's too bad. Ah, the weather's hot. Let's have some tea.
Ik:            Oh, you shouldn't trouble yourself.
